The film Bob Dylan: A Com­plete Unknown takes place on New York’s influ­en­tial ear­ly 1960s music scene and fol­lows the mete­oric rise of 19-year-old Min­neso­ta musi­cian Bob Dylan. From his begin­nings as a folk singer to top­ping the charts and fill­ing con­cert halls, Dylan’s songs and mys­tique became a world­wide sen­sa­tion — cul­mi­nat­ing in his ground­break­ing elec­tric rock and roll per­for­mance at the New­port Folk Fes­ti­val in 1965.
