KASÁRNA KARLÍN SESSIONS

A long-dreamed project by the Kasárna team, which began after the closure of the indoor spaces. Since then, we’ve released four Sessions that nostalgically capture the unique atmosphere of various iconic spots inside Kasárna. Through them, we’ve expressed gratitude for the support received during our fundraiser and encouraged those still considering contributing.

So far, we’ve filmed in the music hall garage, the upstairs cinema, Café Bazén, and the last Session on the empty courtyard.

All Sessions are released on the Kasárna YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@kasarnakarlin

SYNTAX ERROR
Syntax Error is an experimental electronic collective combining many musical influences such as ambient, industrial, noise, and glitch rock. Through layers of synths, bass, and samples, complemented by alternative vocals, they deliver an immersive sonic experience.

MANON MEURT
Masters of epic build-ups and contrasts between quiet and loud passages, Manon Meurt blend dream pop with dense, grunge-like riffs and subtle electronics.

IDA THE YOUNG
Distinguished by intimate, straightforward vocals and captivating lyrics, Ida The Young enrich their sound with colorful instrumentation, fearlessly connecting indie rock with folk-inspired elements.

MARCEL GIDOTE’S HOLY CRAB
This Czech psychedelic band, founded in 2019, mixes influences of rock, kraut, and jazz with a modern sound. Over the years, MGHC have established themselves as one of the most progressive Czech psychedelic acts.
