Summer Cinema — Ghost (1990) + pop-up Zdoběny

9 PM

Due to bad weather, we’re moving the screening of Ghost and the Zdoběny pop-up to June 19.
We hope you can join us on the new date and look forward to seeing you then.

Zdoběny about themselves and the event:

We’re Kačí and Megí — two girls bringing the joy of handmade crafts back to our generation.
We host creative offline workshops (crochet and beyond), where people can unwind, learn something new, keep their hands busy, and turn off the online world for a bit.
This time, we’re taking it outside. Join us at Kasárna Karlín for a relaxed creative evening under the open sky — no workshop, no pressure. Just good company, space to create, great drinks, and the legendary film Ghost setting the mood. Come as you are, bring your current project or start something new, get inspired, and enjoy the summer city atmosphere with us.

About the film:
ENG + CZ subtitles
Sam Wheat has everything — a successful career, a Manhattan apartment, and Molly Jensen, the love of his life. The only thing he struggles with is saying it out loud.
When a seemingly random street robbery turns out to be something far more sinister, Sam finds himself trapped between worlds — unable to touch, speak, or be heard by the people he loves. And as he slowly uncovers the truth, he realises Molly is in danger too.
With nowhere else to turn, he finds an unlikely ally in Oda Mae Brown, a street-side psychic who never expected her gift to actually work. Together, they have one chance to set things right — before it’s too late.
