KK Session — Meet&Greet

09:00 PM

KK Sessions is an ongoing project capturing short live recordings, in which our team partners with artists from the Czech alternative music scene. Come meet the artists and the production crew, catch clips from the sessions together in the summer cinema, grab a drink and chat, or pick up a record or some merch to show support.
The night’s highlight: the première of a live session by Prague band Treska Jednoskvrnná, who recently released their debut album schovaný v trávě”.

19:00 – event starts, team and bands meet & greet
21:00 – screening starts

Syntax Error
A four-piece experimental act blending 90s industrial with electronic and post-rock influences. Their live sets build immersive audiovisual experiences that channel the everyday frustrations and overstimulation of today’s world.

Manon Meurt
Masters of epic build-ups and contrasts between quiet and loud passages, working not only with dream-pop but also with almost grunge-like dense riffs and subtle electronics.

Ida The Young
Known for intimate, direct vocals and captivating lyrics, paired with rich, varied instrumentation that freely mixes indie rock with folk.

Marcel Gidote’s Holy Crab
A Czech psychedelic band founded in 2019, blending influences of rock, krautrock, and jazz with a modern sound. Over the years they’ve established themselves as one of the most progressive Czech psychedelic bands.

Koňa
An entity from the sixth and seventh seat of a red Ford, who occasionally makes a beat and talks over it. Not a fan of choruses.

Treska Jednoskvrnná (première)
The new album brings a partly new sound — leaning into punk, saturation, and raw distortion, all anchored by Czech lyrics and flashes of melancholy and helplessness.

KK Sessions is made in collaboration with friends from FAMU and Lukáš Polák from the local recording studio Tropical Cell Sound. You can find all the recordings here.
